If you're running on Windows or Mac you should just be able to unzip the new package and all your saves should be there. Android is a little more involved, you need to make a backup of your saves before installing the new version.

I just finished through the call to kill the creature that almost got Cam and am very surprised he didn't think to use the fungus in the caves to knock out the creature the first time (hint, hint!!!) And now he and Nadya know the creature's hunting ground it should be relatively easy to get trapped again in the cave but capture the beast by putting it to sleep. That oughta make the Priestess take notice...

Just wanted to chime in on my love of the game. As many commenters have said, the plot of the game is amazing and the adult portion is just a sweet bonus. The storyline and characters are beautifully written and when Raene's secret was confirmed I literally squealed out loud with happiness.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something since I had couple errors at the early stages, which went away after I turned off portraits. Playing 0.8 taboo edition
Anyway, I played through twice, first without guide then with the guide, and still ended in relations with only Celene and Aven, is this intentional? Seems bit odd since harem was mentioned in fetishes.
Also how do you turn on/off those optional fetishes? I didn't see anything in prefs or help.
Céline and Aven are the girl you can have an official relationship with as of yet. Others will be implemented as the story progresses further, eventually culminating in a harem.
The optional fetishes can be declined through dialogue and through the choices you make in the game.

Great game man, not because of the sex the story is super, but also the sex. I have been playing up to v0.6 and skip v0.7 and jump to v0.8. But whenever i was trying to play it, it doesn't run. The game opens but when i load a save file or start a new game, the whole game crash. If you can please help, I can't wait to play.

Thanks! It generally takes me two months to produce a new episode, sometimes three. Releases are available for patrons first on Patreon. Episode 9 will be available there near the end of the month. The next public release here on itch.io is one month after the patron release, so around the end of June.
Yes, fortunately I my translator works very quickly. The past releases had the Portuguese translation of the new episode included, but I'm not sure if we'll be able to manage that for this release. I might release it as a patch though once it's ready.
On android v0.8, on the save screen the lower half of the filename dialog box is covered by the virtual keyboard making it very difficult to actually save.

As for getting into games like these, a background in 3D really helps. The renders (and animations) of the game are made in DAZ3D, but you could do this in Blender as well if you have the skillset. The game itself is scripted in Ren'Py which is based on Python.

Episode 7 when you are searching rooms for jade what am I supposed to do? Cause it only let's me look in them and then that's it then I can continue to look in them over and over without any dialog choice to move on

Credit where credit is due. Tales has evolved into a stunning game. Funnily enough I find myself thoroughly enjoying the plot The sex stuff is like a happy bonus.
The game is a bit more spaced out and with more clicking and reading required than most in the genre. However this game has something for everyone. You get plenty of interesting and likeable characters; who have a wide variety of physical traits. As well as plausable scenarios in which to endulge your more obscure fetishes, Without penalising you if you skip the ones you dont like.
You can be a good guy or you can be a bastard, or any combination of the two. I like rough stuff but i dont like incest, so i can avoid it but it still there for people that like it. you can do the opposite, both or neither. Even has an optional patch for more choice.
This is the direction I hope more quality sex games take in the future and would fully be happy to pay for a copy on steam when compleated, especially if it encourages a sequel.
(Spoiler)Personally I would like to see more challenges like: Avoiding a game over screen and successfully escaping the Alien monster after you steal its baby, by, making decisons that come from clues in the creatures codex entry. I get why some would be opposed to that though.
No, there's no incest slider. Patreon doesn't allow such content, so it's censored. The version offered here is uncensored, but you can revert to the censored edition if you want: Remove the incest_patch.rpyc file (if present) from the game directory and start up the game. Open the developer console and press Shift+O and type: set_special(False), the main menu label should now say Standard Edition instead of Taboo Edition.
Other than that, compared to v0.5, two new episodes have been added in v0.7.
Glad thats an option, though hope you do eventually add in game settings. Curious why does the alien have hair now and did something chnage about celines face?
Adding the option might be a nice feature for the final release. Jade's original model resembled a certain alien from a certain movie franchise with lightsabers too much, so I opted to change her. Didn't change anything about Céline though, she the same throughout the game.
Wow great game! I Love that it's story orientented. Usually games of these types are really off-putting because they have really boring stories but this game however is certainly an exception! Animations are great. Music is great (very glad it has music playing in the background). I've only downloaded the game last week and Im already eagerly waiting for the next update. Is Episode 8 coming out soon? Just curious is all, no rush :)

Loved your first story SL (almost made me late to work cuz I lost track of time reading it), which made me excited to see what your next story was about. TftUV is an amazing story so far! Always frustrating when it stops on an exciting bit of course. Certainly cant wait for the next update! I hope there is a lot more story to go!

It this on a tablet or phone, because I believe I disabled the dialog box on phones?

Found a small dialogue bug/error In the "censored" version. Act 6 right at the start the alien lady says "to find his sister". should be friend?

There's a loop in episode 7 where jade ask to find something, or is it bug though?... Bathroom,chair, bed.. that was all the option shown...
This should be fixed in v0.8.
