I've played the whole game but all my data got cleared when I got a new phone. I've downloaded and opened season 1 but I still can't play season 2. Do I really have to play all of season 1 through to the end before it will let me open season2?
If all your data was cleared all your saved games were wiped as well. Season 2 needs a final Season 1 save to import all the choices you've made. It won't open without one.
I noticed that if you play the galery videos, the conversation/display text is not the same I had while playing the game. It looks like in the galery the conversation is using the option of pregnancy off/ tell the girl i don't want kids with her. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
The replay gallery doesn't follow your progress in-game, so the more generic choices are activated by default. If there's a major decision (like actual sex with a pregnant girl), a choice should pop up at the beginning of the replay. If it's just flavor text, the replay reverts to the more generic variant.

Hi, huge fan of both your titles! Your former title was what got me into AVNs a few years back - so thanks for many sleepless nights! Lately I've been looking into creating something on my own, although the barrier of entry seems quite large. I am a programmer by profession, and I thoroughly enjoy writing, but mastering the visual aspect of game creation seems so daunting (and crucial for game success). So, in your case, how was the learning curve for getting into character modeling and scene creation?
I remember reading you were using DAZ 3D for character creation, importing those assets into Blender, and rendering 2D stills for your former title - is that still the case for Tales?
Additionally, time-wise, what takes the longest out of story writing/planning, coding, and rendering?
Thanks for the kind words! I come from the same programming background, but I have some experience with the visual side of things. Learning DAZ3D was one of the harder things to do. Apart from having a complicated GUI, making good renders is a challenge in itself. Lighting scenes is one of the biggest struggles.
For now I'm only using DAZ to create the characters and environments and render them in the built-in Iray engine. Switching to Blender is tempting, but too much work at this point. Maybe for a future title. Blender is a far superior application, the load times alone would make it worth to switch, but it also provides much better support for manipulating 3D models and animations.
Creating the images and rendering them takes the longest by far, even with the beefy hardware I know own.

I know we just received v0.17, but I liked this chapter SO MUCH that I'm already looking forward to the next one. Do you have a scheduled date? Like 2-3 months? And what do you intend to focus more on in future chapters?
The releases always drop on Patreon and SubscribeStar first. The last release there was November 11, so I'll post the new build here on December 11. Two to three months is the goal, but I don't always make that deadline.
As for the future chapters, they'll develop the relationships with the girls even further. Pregnancy is coming, as is the harem (if you choose to start one). The story will continue on and I'm planning an epic conclusion in Season 3 (the final season) of the game.
Hey, Perverteer, there is something which really bothers me in the last chapters and I need to talk to you about it.
It is about Eva, you have locked away some really sweet scenes with her to players who chose to respect her and be honest with her about the other girls whereas you reward dishonest players who keep her in the dark. 😟
Indeed, when I got a chance to be honest with Eva, I chose to do so then I finished chapters 17 and 18 without any romantic scene with her however upon checking the gallery to make sure that I didn't miss anything, I found that I was missing some scenes with Eva, while I was already frustrated that nothing ever happened with her anymore ever since we confessed our love for each other and I chose to warn her about my involvement with other girls to be fair to her so I checked the walkthrough to find out why my relationship with Eva has stagnated for so long especially since I was missing some scenes with her in the gallery and the walkthrough revealed that I had to keep her in the dark to date her right away but that our relationship will progress in next chapter if I DID chose to be honest with her.
This choice of warning Eva about the other girls or keeping her in the dark took place in CHAPTER 15 therefore according to the walkthrough, choosing to be fair to her should have made our relationship progress from CHAPTER 16 already, which IT DIDN'T! 😫
So I reloaded my save from the accursed choice in chapter 15 and I chose to keep her in the dark then I skipped everything I already experienced until something new happened and it did in chapter 17 while Eva and I were sleeping in the desert, she woke me up because she was cold and wanted to snuggle to me for body heat and I see no logical reason why this wouldn't happen if I didn't reject her when she confessed her love to me. 🤨
And according to the walkthrough, this scene IS supposed to happen no matter if we chose to warn her about the other girls or keep her in the dark as long as we confessed our love to each other, the love confession should be the only requirement to trigger this scene, which is more logical, especially since Eva requested one more kiss before leaving her room right after my confession about the other girls and she kissed me passionately while she knew about my other relationships, then later she professed her love to me again when our ship was about to crash land in the desert and our survival was uncertain, which was still the case in the desert.
The walkthrough states that the night scene in the desert with Eva happens if we confessed our love to each other and doesn't even mention the choice of telling her about the other girls or not, which logically implies that this choice is irrelevant to this scene, and yet, I missed out this romantic scene with Eva because I chose to respect her and not keep her in the dark. 😩
Then the walkthrough states that in chapter 18, if we chose to tell Eva about the other girls in chapter 15 then we have a dialogue with her during which we have to choose between suggesting harem or keeping relationships separate, which is the same choice that we already had with Celine and Lilly earlier, and which logically implies that we already HAVE an on-going relationship with Eva since we have to choose to keep our relationship separate from others or involve it with other relationships! 😲
But this dialogue never happened to me, which makes me logically think that there is a bug in the game's script because events which are supposed to happen no matter what as long as we confessed our love to each other don't happen if we choose to tell her about other girls and even events which are meant to happen SPECIFICALLY IF we did chose to be honest with her don't happen either, if we choose to be honest with her then the story continues as if we never confessed our love to each other, our relationship gets stuck on OFF forever and all of her romantic scenes are locked out, nothing ever happens with her anymore, which can only mean that there is a nasty bug which screws the game's script from chapter 15 onward if we choose to respect her and warn her about our other relationships. 😣
At first, I wanted to complain to you that you punish players who choose to be fair and not keep Eva in the dark and that you reward hypocrite players who choose to keep her in the dark with some sweet scenes as if honesty was the bad choice and hypocrisy was the good choice however after having read the walkthrough, it is now evident that you didn't lock out all of Eva's events to punish players who chose to respect her on purpose and that something is wrong with the game's script which keeps Eva's relationship off if we choose to warn her about other girls because events which are supposed to trigger after the love confession regardless of this choice don't happen and events which were specifically designed for players who chose to be honest with her don't happen either, which means that the game's script is not working according to your plan. 🤔
Therefore I report this bug to you so you can repair the game's script and FINALLY unlock Eva's romance from chapter 16 and onward to players who choose to respect her and warn her about other girls. 😉

As you mentioned, not being able to romance Eva, or get all her scenes, when being honest is indeed a bug. I've had a few other reports and save game files to further debug this. Fixes for the path should land in the next release.

Perverteer - your visual novels are a cut above. Characters are fleshed out, the plots have depth and make sense, and there is a level of maturity not found in many.
I have gone through Sisterly Lust several times just to experience the different choices - and have actually come to care about the characters. Tales From the Unending Void looks to be an even more ambitious project and I look forward to more beyond Season 2.

The version number doesn't reflect the completion of the game. There are 18 episodes in total at the moment. One season is complete, season two is in development and a third and final season is planned.

Some time ago I decided to play this game, just out of curiosity, and after playing it I realized how GOOD it was. I dare say it's one of the best of the genre, it's incredible because all the characters are charismatic.
Hard to believe it is from the same author of Sisterly Lust, he has grown so much more skilled since then!
I didn’t like Sisterly Lust much because the protagonist was a creep who used Daddy’s money to buy his way in women’s hearts, everything felt as if it was served on a silver plate ready for the taking, that was not an enjoyable experience to me because I didn’t feel as if I earned what I had and the protagonist really creeped me out with his rotten personality.
Now in this story here, the author has completely changed his perspective.
The protagonist might be from a rich family, he is not a spoiled brat like the protagonist from Sisterly Lust was, this protagonist is a lot more interesting as he doesn’t rely on Daddy’s money to have his way in life, he is fully autonomous and actually makes his own way in life with his own resources, I respect him a lot more! 😃
And his personality is a lot more refined that the creep from Sisterly Lust who spent his time thinking how he was going to fuck his sisters. Now don’t get me wrong, this protagonist here also romances his sisters BUT he thinks about them in a lot more respectful way than the creep from Sisterly Lust who saw his sisters as preys of his schemes.
Because as the name entailed, Sisterly Lust was all about LUST. The thoughts and actions of the protagonist were driven by sexual desires. Whereas here, the thoughts and actions of the protagonist are driven by love, he loves his sisters and doesn’t think about them in a creepy way, which makes a world of difference in his personality and makes him a lot more enjoyable to be! 😆
To sum it up, the protagonist from Sisterly Lust was a creep whereas this protagonist here is a romantic. 😁
It falls under high risk content for payment processors, so there's a higher chance of chargebacks, refunds and fraud. Often payment processors do not even want to touch that category at all.
I don't think GOG supports Android builds unfortunately. I'd have to check with them, as I'm not sure they'll allow it, but maybe they APK could be distributed as DLC with the version for Windows/macOS/Linux.
Yo! I wanted to say that I really enjoyed this masterpiece! from the start to finish I was so satisfied. The story, the girls, the settings, the details. I love it so much. Almost everything is perfect. I tried your first game and I do enjoyed it a little but this game pushed my senses to new heights.
However, there are some differences between your first game and this game. This game is so detailed however the animation of the scenes aren't similar unlike on your first game. Ik it's wishful thinking but if possible try to ante the animation part.
Nonetheless, it's amazing. Can't wait for the next updates! Can't wait for more Jade, Thyia, and Raene lol.

From the moment you discover her betrayal on Erigone, you need to treat her like sh**. Take all the harsh/nasty conversation choices towards her, including threatening to abandon her. That will get her on the submissive path.
I just completed Season One, and already downloaded the Season Two. But when I am trying to play, it tells me "you need the data saves from Season One", I don't know why I can't play.
I tried to copy and move the data directory in Android/App/Game directory from season 1 to season 2 directory but it's error, said something about Java.
Pls anyone help me, I want to play the game again :(
Have you updated to the latest Android versions of both seasons? Season 1 needs to be run once to get the saved games to a new location. Here are the steps to transfer your Season 1 save to Season 2.
Install both the new Season 1 and Season 2 builds on your device.
Open up Season 1 until it has gone to the main menu and close the application again.
Verify that a directory called RenPy_Saves has been created in your Documents directory and that it has a subdirectory called com.perverteer.tftuv. In that directory there should be a file called Season_1_*longstringofalphanumericcharacters*.save
After verifying, open Season 2, from the main menu you should be able to select Continue and play with your Season 1 save.
Hello, I just tried playing the ending scene again from season 1, after that I quit and install the season, checked the data directory the saves files are fine.
But when I open the season 2, after allowing the permission to data, I still can't play, it says like this.
Maybe I will just wait for another update and hopefully it's just a bug and I can play again :(
Is there a com.perverteer.tftuv2 in the RenPy_Saves directory in your Documents folder? If the saved games are still in the Android/App/Game the process won't work, unfortunately.
Sorry, I just checked the directory again on document folder, and it seems there is just this one file I have, I don't know why the season 1 data doesn't show there like you said.
Ah it just being more complicated than what I thought, I really feel sorry to bother you :(
Could you perhaps post a screenshot of the file listing inside com.perverteer.tftuv2?
I'm not sure if you've already done so, but you should install the very latest version of Season 1 and run it at least once. If you've uninstalled the first season it might have deleted the saved games in Android/App/Game though, but it should at the very least create the com.perverteer.tftuv folder.

If your saves are stored in Documents/RenPy/com.perverteer.tftuv installing the update shouldn't remove those files.

I didn’t like Sisterly Lust much because the protagonist was a creep who used Daddy’s money to buy his way in women’s hearts, everything felt as if it was served on a silver plate ready for the taking, that was not an enjoyable experience to me because I didn’t feel as if I earned what I had and the protagonist really creeped me out with his rotten personality.
Now in this story here, the author has completely changed his perspective.
The protagonist might be from a rich family, he is not a spoiled brat like the protagonist from Sisterly Lust was, this protagonist is a lot more interesting as he doesn’t rely on Daddy’s money to have his way in life, he is fully autonomous and actually makes his own way in life with his own resources, I respect him a lot more! 😃
And his personality is a lot more refined that the creep from Sisterly Lust who spent his time thinking how he was going to fuck his sisters.
Now don’t get me wrong, this protagonist here also romances his sisters BUT he thinks about them in a lot more respectful way than the creep from Sisterly Lust who saw his sisters as preys of his schemes.
Because as the name entailed, Sisterly Lust was all about LUST.
The thoughts and actions of the protagonist were driven by sexual desires.
Whereas here, the thoughts and actions of the protagonist are driven by love, he loves his sisters and doesn’t think about them in a creepy way, which makes a world of difference in his personality and makes him a lot more enjoyable to be! 😆
To sum it up, the protagonist from Sisterly Lust was a creep whereas this protagonist here is a romantic. 😁

I don't think GOG supports Android builds unfortunately. I'd have to check with them, as I'm not sure they'll allow it, but maybe they APK could be distributed as DLC with the version for Windows/macOS/Linux.

Yo! I wanted to say that I really enjoyed this masterpiece! from the start to finish I was so satisfied. The story, the girls, the settings, the details. I love it so much. Almost everything is perfect. I tried your first game and I do enjoyed it a little but this game pushed my senses to new heights.
However, there are some differences between your first game and this game. This game is so detailed however the animation of the scenes aren't similar unlike on your first game. Ik it's wishful thinking but if possible try to ante the animation part.
Nonetheless, it's amazing. Can't wait for the next updates! Can't wait for more Jade, Thyia, and Raene lol.

From the moment you discover her betrayal on Erigone, you need to treat her like sh**. Take all the harsh/nasty conversation choices towards her, including threatening to abandon her. That will get her on the submissive path.

I play in Android.
I just completed Season One, and already downloaded the Season Two. But when I am trying to play, it tells me "you need the data saves from Season One", I don't know why I can't play.
I tried to copy and move the data directory in Android/App/Game directory from season 1 to season 2 directory but it's error, said something about Java.
Pls anyone help me, I want to play the game again :(
Have you updated to the latest Android versions of both seasons? Season 1 needs to be run once to get the saved games to a new location. Here are the steps to transfer your Season 1 save to Season 2.
Hello, I just tried playing the ending scene again from season 1, after that I quit and install the season, checked the data directory the saves files are fine.
But when I open the season 2, after allowing the permission to data, I still can't play, it says like this.
Maybe I will just wait for another update and hopefully it's just a bug and I can play again :(

Is there a com.perverteer.tftuv2 in the RenPy_Saves directory in your Documents folder? If the saved games are still in the Android/App/Game the process won't work, unfortunately.
Sorry, I just checked the directory again on document folder, and it seems there is just this one file I have, I don't know why the season 1 data doesn't show there like you said.

Could you perhaps post a screenshot of the file listing inside com.perverteer.tftuv2?
I'm not sure if you've already done so, but you should install the very latest version of Season 1 and run it at least once. If you've uninstalled the first season it might have deleted the saved games in Android/App/Game though, but it should at the very least create the com.perverteer.tftuv folder.
