Tales From The Unending Void is my next project and a sci-fi choice-based visual novel made in Ren’Py, much like my previous title Sisterly Lust.
PLOT
Camran is a young minor noble from the Sovereignty, a part of space dominated by humans. Erstwhile cadet of the Terran Naval Academy, Cam has been forced by circumstances to travel the galaxy, together with a band of friends, taking on menial jobs and occasionally smuggling some illicit cargo. As he involuntarily becomes part of sinister plans machinated by powerful intrigants, Camran’s life is changed forever…

Any idea when season 3 will be

how Many Episodes in Season 2 will there be because I'm currently waiting for season 2 to be finished before I continue. is there going to be 12 episodes like Season 1 or will there be less?
Season 2 will contain 10 episodes.
I have to say that both stories (Sisterly Lust and TFTNV) are very addicting.
I fast forward through most of the sex scenes (pretty repetitive) to get back to the story itself.
As soon as I finished the first one (downloaded from here), I purchased it through GOG to show support for you to continue the story. (I have purchased both SL & TFTNV on GOG, and am hoping that you will also put any and all future of your novels on GOG. Unfortunately, there is no sign of the 2nd part on there, so can't buy it.
I have now finished the second part, but have found an issue with Vess. For the last play-through of the story, the only ones I am having a relationship with are the 3 sisters. Because of this, up until the end, there was no option to release her from detention, and I had no problem with that. She still supported and cooperated with us.
The issue is that somewhere between 19 and 21 (I think it was 20.. apologies, I didn't take notes and just went ahead with the story to the end..), she is all of a sudden out of the cage and having a relationship with me, which should not have happened. It was probably within 15 minutes of the error that it seems everyone is getting (not sure it is the same error, but it is the only one I received through the whole game, so I suspect it is).
Anyway, the only complaint I have, is that there are too many big butts, lol. I know that is a "thing" for some people, but I am not one of them. (would be nice if it was possible to choose body prefs at the beginning of the game)...
Please put the others on GOG too!! I will buy them as soon as they are up. And thank you for your really good games.. I hope you can continue with your creativity.
OH!!! 1 last thing... PLEASE finish up 2 and get started on 3 ASAP! Last thing I saw on part 2 was, "TO BE CONTINUED"... :^(
Thanks for the kind words! The problem with Vess is a known issue and should be fixed in the next release. As for putting the second season on GOG, as soon as it's finished I'll start the submission process.

I'm in the final stages of development, so not long now.
I don't like the way raene's character is handled, we're constantly reminded of how advanced all sciences are, especially medical, yet that process is identical to current day medicine?
don't get me wrong i don't have issue with gender change whatever being in the story, but in a super advanced sci-fi setting it should be nothing more than a simple surgery (and unlike current day would be entirely functional and be something you could change back and forth with) maybe with a round of pills to help the body adjust to the changes, like they do with augmentation rejection meds in deus ex and cyberpunk.
I have a similar issue with the ferro fluid character from apex legends. it's shown as a future that has little to no discrimination and incredibly advanced science, yet it's somehow brave of the character and they struggled despite the sourced of the difficulty around it not existing in that world/universe, TFTUV's story gives a source of mental discomfort but everything else points towards the science side being advanced enough that it shouldn't need rounds of transitionary meds analogous to the current era
it just doesn't make sense and rips away my suspension of disbelief (a.k.a. immersion if you prefer), replacing said suspension with reminders of all the arguments I've seen with people being complete assholes to eachother (on both sides) for no good reason

Season 1 has been translated into French and Season 2 has so far been translated until Episode 21. I have good hopes the last episode will be translated as well.

That seems to be right before the end. As far as I know that section hasn't undergone any changes that could render the saved game incompatible. Have you used any mods before and do any other saves work at all?
No mods used, but I was able to load a slightly older save and that somehow worked fine, so not sure why that particular save wasn't working - all good now though, thanks for the help anyway!

Yes, the Portuguese translation is incomplete at this moment, I forgot to update the settings screen to reflect this.

Thanks for the head's up. That's one of the known issues, but I haven't worded it clearly in the release notes, I think. Will be fixed in the next release. You can safely ignore the error, by the way, won't affect your saved games.
Will Season 2 come to Steam as DLC or separate game?
I'm leaning towards releasing it as DLC, but I have to check the technical prerequisites first.

I also get this same error. I'm able to "ignore" to get past it, but I'm assuming that means I'm missing dialogue.
Happy to hear you've got it working. As for the error, you're not missing much, just one line of dialogue. This will be fixed in the next release.
What's with that slave milk cum drink in chapter 5? when leaving she exits a side room like she wants to tell you something then gets spooked leaves and nothing... no option to go after her.
Excellent story. One glaring issue, wanted ads all over every screen in the galaxy. Not even so much as a haircut. That's just asking to be recognized when you look EXACTLY like the streaming wanted reward campaign. Haircut and haircolor at a minimum.
I think it's pretty clear the MC and crew are avoiding sovereign controlled space for exactly that reason.
The spanish version of v0.20.1 has many errors of text boxes where it is supposed to have text and they do not have it (sporadically), besides that since episode 13 comes a time when it stops any text, not even the options appear ... and so it is totally impossible to advance.
The Spanish version is only a partial translation, so not all of the episodes have been translated.
Will it ever be fully translated?

SPOILERS AHEAD (idk how to hide them in here)!!! Can someone help me with a detail? idk if i'm imagining things, but: recently i've lost all my saves and had to restart the game (it's the second time this happens, actually) and i remember clearly that in the first season, after the incident with the simulation, i had the option to terminate it for good. And so i did (twice, considering that i replayed it before). But this time, i didn't had this choice. Bcs of that, now when i got to the second season again, the lack of this decision is having consequences in the story, which i don't recolect having before (eva is in coma or something). What's going on ? the dev decided to turn off this choice ??? I would like to read a confirmation from the dev, just in case this is a bug (who knows, right?).
Just had a look at the code and the choice is in Episode 8. You have to pull out of the simulation and clear it. The events with Eva in Episode 15 are triggered when you haven't cleared the sim in Episode 8 and went inside a sim with Eva in Episode 13. There are other choices regarding the simulation in Episode 15 (during Eva's coma). The variables for this trigger are ep013_douvis_simulation and ep008_simulation_clear. If you bring up the developer console inside the game (Shift + O) and type either of those variables, they should show up as True if you went into the sim in Episode 13 and didn't clear it in Episode 8. Hope that clarifies it somewhat.

I certainly hope not since each new chapter of the second season has been taking the same amount of time to be released as the first season's chapters which took 3 months each to be released whereas each new chapter of the second season has been growing shorter, thinner and emptier than the first season's chapters while losing their appeal and Perverteer has announced the complete story will take 3 seasons when he could have completed it in 2 seasons if only he had kept up the same standards of quantity and quality as the first season so if each new chapter now takes twice the time to be released while they offer barely half the quantity and quality of the first season's chapters then there is no point keeping bothering with this empty story because I have already been growing bored of the second season which is far below the standards set by the first season and when I started this story, I didn't know then that Perverteer named it "Tales From The Unending Void" because the story itself was going to turn into a never-ending emptiness. 😏
Well for every meaningful choice, he has to create another storyline and variables and outcomes.
How many choices have you made in the last few weeks of your real life? If someone had to write a different variations for each line you may have taken, as well as as for new choices you might have to make in those other variations, then i would have to say that an exponential length of time for each chapter does make a kind of sense.

This might be the best visual novel I've ever played, without exception. There's several that compete in terms of story and plot design (compete, but not surpass - this is right up there with legends like Eternum and Ripples)... but the possibilities for lovers are the most cosmopolitan, egalitarian thing I've ever seen in interactive fiction. Black, white, purple, green, bald, cisgender, transgender, intersex, blood-related, the list goes on, and I am here for it. Between that, and the realistic approach to the complexities of polyamorous relationships, this surpasses mere harem hentai and crosses into the realm of a proper romantic drama. Thank you for this masterpiece, thank you for your previous masterpiece, and I'm eagerly looking forward to more. <3
I can only agree with you. I first played "Sisterly Lust" and now "Tales From The Unending Void". Both are absolute gems. Unfortunately, due to internet censorship in Germany, I can't buy these games on Steam. How about having your own online shop where you can buy the Steam keys directly or another 18+ online shop? Honestly, I would have agreed with your comment back in the first season when I was hooked and eagerly waiting for each new chapter.
But if you don't know any better AVN than what this one has become in the second season then I am sorry to say that you didn't play many good AVNs because while this one WAS indeed one of the best in its first season, it has been growing emptier in its second season and it is no more what it used to be because Perverteer has been corrupted by Patreon as many other developers since he now wants to milk people for as long as he can by emptying the second season to justify a third whereas he completed the first season faster and better than the lame work he has been doing for the second season, did you not feel a loss of appeal in the second season compared to when you started the first season?
If you enjoy Eternum and Ripples, I suggest you play Artemis. It's as good, if not better, than the aforementioned.

Why does the game keep force closing?! I have to constantly save the game to not lose progress! but since it's too frustrating trying to play I just deleted it from my phone! Also season 2 is only available in zip so if people wanted to download it onto their phone or tab they won't be able to play it and probably have to do things just to do so 😑😒
