Paid version cancelled due to itch.io policy changes
Rather sad news today. itch.io has effectively ended the sale of adult games on their platform.
The past few weeks, an email has been sent informing adult content creators that they can only sell their games on itch.io by enabling "direct payments", instead of bulk payments through itch.io, from now on. They did so without prior warning and with only a 30-day period for developers to cease payments or switching to direct payments. As all major payment processors available on itch.io (Paypal, Stripe) have clauses preventing the sale of adult content, this is not a viable option and will only result in getting my merchant account banned.
This is the wording used by itch.io in their email:
This decision was made after considering various factors related to your account, including nature of content, risk, disputes, and the resources required by our team to review payments associated with your account.
Payments are now disabled here and only the free version of the game should be available. I've delisted the paid versions of the game and I do hope the game can still be downloaded by anyone who've purchased it in the past. Updates for the paid version of the game will be available on Steam, Patreon and SubscribeStar. I will of course continue to update the free version of the game as before. If you have any questions just let me know in the comments below and I'll try to answer them to the best of my abilities.

Unfortunately there's no version of the game that supports iOS.
is the apple version download for tablets??
There's only a version for macOS. Both iPhone and iPad run iOS, which means the app needs to be delivered through the app store which doesn't allow porn.
Is there any way that the full game will be available on Android? I bought it off of steam before realizing that it wasn't available for Android. I really enjoy playing and will gladly buy it again if it come to Android.

OMG. This is one of my top games. I bought the bonus version and I regularly reinstall it and play through again. I don't want to buy a Steam version as it will be trapped in that platform. Is there some way I can get and keep/archive a standalone copy of the bonus version?

I've played the free game and enjoyed it enough to want to pay something for it. I'd also like to get the bonus content but refuse to deal with either Steam or Patreon—don't like the way they do business—so I wonder if there's some other way to get (and pay) for it.
Can't you do what other adult content creators have done, i.e. set up a "Name your own price" pay window that supports PayPal or credit card purchases?
In any case, thanks for several hours' worth of fun!

What is the difference between the version of Sisterly Lust on itch.io now and the one I can get from Patreon? On Patreon it says it's the 1.1.4 while on itch.io it's called 1.1.6. Do the contents differ?

v1.1.6 is also available on Patreon. The downloads post was out of date, but I've just updated the links. The main difference between the version here is that it's uncensored, whereas the Patreon version is. It can be patched though, using a third-party patch.
I have this on steam so its all good, I can only hope that there is a way for not only you but other creators to still sell there work. If you find another location other than steam please share so people will not miss out on this great game.
I sure will! Things are looking a bit dire in that regard though. First GameJolt and now itch.io, I don't think there are many other platforms left. :(
so i did the paid thing for this. is the paid version 1.1.6 or is it just the free one? the only one that i can download is the v.1.1.6. if its not the one for the paid version then how do i get or redownload what was paid for? is there a steam key sent to our emails?

This sucks. Not for us, the players. But for the great developers like yourself. I really loved the bussiness model that was here, and now sadly. It is gone.
I already owned TTUV on steam, but not SL.. And ofc, i bought it straight away.. Not even fully so i owned the full edition again, but also to support you where i can.
Speaking of Steam, (and i know this doesnt work for everyone..sadly) maybe you can go fully to steam and patreon? I play Come Home there, another AVN, wich is Free to play, but she also uploaded a Premium Edition wich will get the patch earlier then the F2Players..It is basicly the model you have here..
I dunno.. I wish you best of luck..and i keep playing the games, as long as i can.. and i try to support you with the budget i have.

Looks like Steam and Patreon are the only viable alternatives at the moment, so I'll commit to those platforms and only update the free version here.
I currently have the full version purchased and installed through itch, but will there potentially be any updates to SL in the future? Is it possible to gain access to the full version on Steam instead? I'd rather not have to re-purchase it, even if I know it would support you.

You could get people to send you their emails (if they paid for the game already) and then give them a Steam/GOG key for free? The only other way (maybe not possible) is to refund their money, so they can buy it on Steam/GOG? As I paid for the game nearly a year ago, I am not going to pay again on Steam. So when do us Itch purchasers get free Steam keys?
This was going to be my question too. I wanted to by from you direct cause I figured steam took such a big cut, but don't want to have to purchase a second time just to get any further updates that might come out. Especially as I was under the impression the game was done and didn't have anything more major coming.
I am hoping Steam and Itch are the same. But it's not easy to find out...... If they are, it isn't a problem. I can live without achievements, but if Steam has added scenes or anything, then I would be miffed.
Rip, I bought it here since Steam doesn't allow the sale of adult games in Germany, since they'd be required to have actual proof of age of maturity.
